Hello  Parents and Students

We are camping near Wilkeson WA at Sunset Lake Camp. Please check the weather before packing. We will be doing most of our activities rain or shine so please be prepared. This means that you should have one complete outfit per day if it is raining because it won't dry overnight. Be ready to get dirty.

One item I forgot to put on the list but have added is a simple camping chair. Please do not bring a reclining chair or anything extravagant. If you don't have one please let me know I have one or two spares.

For the seniors please do not bring a tarp larger than 10 by 20 feet. A smaller tarp will work well. Homedepot has several great options. If you are unable to secure a tarp I may have a few from last year you can borrow. Please let me know ASAP if you need one.

For seniors, you will be cooking your own food Tuesday through Thursday Night. There will be a campfire you can cook over or you can bring a backpack stove. You are welcome to collaborate together and make meals together if you wish.

Seniors leave Oct 24 @ 8:30 a.m.

Juniors leave Oct 26 @ 12:30 pm

Both return to LAA Oct 29. by approximately 3:00 pm.

Both groups will need to purchase or bring food for the ride up and back and seniors will be providing their own food (part of the survival part) until Friday morning.

Thanks,

Kirk Betz
